Duplex stainless steel SUS329J3L has excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Compared with SUS316L, SUS317L, it has better resistance to localized corrosion, and can be used in chemical equipment, desalination equipment and so on.The strength of SUS329J3L is as same as that of SUS430 at 1150 ~ 950 ℃. It should also be noted the intensity can increase dramatically below 900 ℃. And it needs solution heat treatment after thermal processing. Due to its high yield strength and small elongation, do pay attention to the process of cold forming.

Welding of SUS329J3L
The welding of SUS329J3L is the same as that of austenitic stainless steel.MIG welding and manual arc welding can be used.
no need for preheat.
Heat treatment of SUS329J3L
Temperature of solution treatment is 1020 ~ 1100 ℃, rapidly quenched after heat treatment. Cooling rate should be fast as soon as possible, And the exposure to the brittle temperature should be avoided.
