S30200Overview and characteristics of SUS302:
SUS302 is a type of austenitic stainless steel. It has good plasticity, toughness due to its high carbon content as well as excellent corrosion resistance in medium, such as oxidizing acid, atmosphere, steam and so on. Its corrosion resistance is equivalent to that of SUS304. It can get high strength after cold working; however its extensibility becomes worse. Heat treatment of SUS302:
The temperature of solid solution is 1010~1150℃. Cool rapidly.Applications of SUS302:
SUS302 is mainly used for making structure parts and welding parts that have low requirements in corrosion resistance and intensity, like external decorative material of building. In addition, it can be used in nonmagnetic parts and parts of low temperature device.
