SUS202 is a kind of nickel saving austenitic stainless steel. It has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It can maintain good oxidation resistance and relatively high strength even under 800℃. Preliminary heat treatment of SUS202:
The temperature of stress relieving annealing is 300~350℃. Keep the temperature for 1-2 hours, air cooling.Solution treatment of SUS202:
The temperature of solution treatment of SUS202 is 1050~1100℃. Water cooling or air cooling. Hardness ≤207HBW.Weldability of SUS202:
The welding of SUS202 is very similar to that of SUS321. Its ductility and toughness after welding are lower than that of the ordinary chromium nickel steels. It cooling rate after welding should not be very rapid. It can be welded by electric welding and argon arc welding.Applications of SUS202:
SUS202 is mainly used to fabricate the components which can withstand the corrosion of weak medium and bear load under 80℃.
