SUS201 is a kind of nickel saving austenitic stainless steel. It is developed by replacing a part of nickel with manganese and nitrogen on the basis of SUS301. SUS201 is non-magnetic in the solution state. It has slight magnetism after cold working. SUS201 is a non-hardening chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel. It can obtain relatively high strength after proper deep cold working. Its plasticity is excellent as well, and it is much better under low temperature.Chemical composition of SUS201 (%):

The corrosion depth of SUS201 in the medium of 65% nitric acid is 0.518mm/a. Its corrosion depth in the mixed liquids of 8% sulfuric acid and 1% copper sulfate is 0.009mm/a. Its corrosion depth in 60% acetic acid is 0.003mm/a.Forging techniques of SUS201:

Preliminary heat treatment of SUS201:
The temperature of stress relieving annealing is 300~350℃. Keep the temperature for 1-2 hours, air cooling.Solution treatment of SUS201:
The temperature of solution treatment of SUS201 is 1010~1066℃. Cool rapidly. Hardness ≤241HBW.Weldability of SUS201:
SUS201 is available for the processing of drawing, rolling and bending. Its weldability is inferior to that of SUS304.Applications of SUS201:
