17-7PH (UNS S17700)
17-7PH Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steel
Introduction
UNS S17700
17-7PH (UNS S17700) is a kind of austenitic - martensitic stainless steel that can be precipited
and hardened, developed on the basis of 18-8CrNi. It is a kind of precipitation hardening stainless steel that is used for applications requiring high strength and a moderate level of corrosion resistance.
Properties
17-7PH (UNS S17700) provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue properties, good corrosion resistance, good formability, and minimumdistortion upon heat treatment. And its mechanical properties, corrosion resistance is higher than martensitic ones under intermediate temperature.
