Overview and features of 430F:
430F is a type of American standard stainless steel as well as a ferritic stainless steel. It is made by adding the steel with free cutting property on the basis of 430 stainless steel. 430F is a basic ferritic non-heat treatable stainless steel. It has the strengths of good ductility, formability, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, thermal conductivity and finish quality. Welding of 430F:
All common welding methods applied in stainless steels will be successful with 430F. The filler metal should be AWS E/ER308 or 312.Forging techniques of 430F:
Bring the workpiece to 1500℉ (816℃), then heat it rapidly to 1900℉ (1038℃). Prolonged exposure at this temperature can cause grain growth. Cool it in air to room temperature, followed by annealing.Heat treatment of 430F:
Annealing temperature is 680~820℃. Air cooling or slow cooling.Annealing of 430F:
Soak it at 1500℉, furnace cool to 1100℉, and then air cool.Applications of 430F:
