Pay attention to heat treatment of austenitic stainless steel
The process of heat treatment on austenitic stainless steel is relatively simple,with respect to martensitic stainless steel and precipitation hardening stainless steel. Simple as it looks, however, there are some problems that should be paid attention to.
First, melting treatment of austenitic stainless steel needs a reasonable range of heating temperature.And there are bad effects:
1. increased sensitivity to inter granular corrosion.
2. lower quality under cold condition.
3. decreased strength caused by high solution temperature.Second,the next problem should be paid attention to is stabilization treatment on the properties of solid solution and the Stabilization of the heating temperature should not be too high. Also, austenitic stainless steel should not be repeated melting treatment.
Finally, pay attention to Austenitic stainless steel and prevention of pollution, including sources of pollution and contamination of austenitic stainless steel, and heat treatment and heat treatment processes related to anti-pollution measures.
